William Earl Gordon, DMin, MDiv, BS

Bill Gordon is a Maine native. He earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from the
University of Creation Spirituality, and a Masters of Divinity degree from Bangor
Theological Seminary. He has been associated with Rosalind Franklin since 2012 and
has served in various capacities, including as a faculty member in the College of Health
Professions. He was named the first Associate Director of the DeWitt C. Baldwin
Institute of Interprofessional Education, and has served as an educator and advisor for
students in the Biomedical Sciences Program. Although he formally retired from the
University as a full-time employee in August of 2023, he continues to serve as a guest
lecturer in various programs (particularly addressing the spiritual needs of team member
and patients), the Lead Trainer for TeamSTEPPS, and as an adjunct faculty member
for the Interprofessional Healthcare Studies degree program, where he focuses on
creating effective teams and innovative education strategies. Gordon also teaches
outside the University in techniques in coaching and interdependent leadership for
corporate clients.

Gordon is the author of several books, including most recently co-authoring a chapter
on teamwork for a nursing textbook. His other works cover diverse topics such as
human spirituality, preparing for retirement, and time management strategies. He
continues consulting on issues related to teamwork and collaboration.
