Ning Wang, PhD
Microbiology and Immunology Discipline
Dr. Wang received her B.Sc. in microbiology from Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, China, and her PhD in biochemistry and cell biology from University of Massachusetts Amherst. She went on with her Postdoctoral training as Northwestern University and taught pre-med students at University of Virginia’s College at Wise.
Dr. Wang joined the faculty of Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in 2021 and her primary current focus is to teach microbiology in different medical disciplines.
Dr. Wang is also interested in studying how bacterial infection affects aβ peptide cellular toxicity by using transgenic C.elegans models, to help elucidate the association between bacterial infection and Alzheimer’s disease.
