Mitchell Glaser, MD
Dr. Mitchell Glaser graduated from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Medicine. His residency in General Psychiatry was at the University of Chicago and his fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry was at Northwestern University. Dr. Glaser is the assistant director of psychiatric education for Chicago Medical School/Rosalind Franklin University and he currently serves as the chair and medical director of the department of psychiatry at Ascension, Saint Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center. St. Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center is the largest provider of mental health services in the state of Illinois.
Dr. Glaser is board-certified in general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry and is also the primary investigator and medical director of the Ascension behavioral health clinical research program, where Phase 3 FDA clinical trials are performed. Dr. Glaser’s areas of clinical focus include treatment-resistant depression in adults and pediatric bipolar disorder, autism, and pediatric psychosis.
