Dr. Kimiko Suzue received her PhD in Biology from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1998 and her medical degree from Harvard Medical School in 2002 in the Health Science and Technology Program. She completed a residency in combined Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of Chicago. Dr. Suzue also completed a Fellowship in Pulmonary Pathology and Surgical Pathology at the University of Chicago.

Dr. Suzue is certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology by the American Board of Pathology. She has served as an attending Pathologist at Mount Sinai Hospital, Advocate Lutheran General Hospital and Advocate Condell Hospital.

She has been the Pathology course director since 2009 and is currently the Pathology Education Director and Discipline Chair of Pathology. Dr. Suzue oversees the incorporation of Pathology in the curricula at Chicago Medical School, the College of Health Professions and the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine.
