Dr. Bari Courts holds a PhD in Organizational Management from Capella University, a MA in Healthcare Administration from Ashford University, an MBA in Management from the University of Cincinnati, and a MS in Global Business Blockchain from the University of the Cumberlands. Additionally, Dr. Courts earned a BA in Mathematics from Kenyon College. Having completed the PhD entirely online, Dr. Courts is well-versed in the time commitment and challenges associated with online learning, understanding the difficulties as well as the rewards.

With 20 years of experience in teaching online, Dr. Courts has taught a variety of courses, including Economics, Management, Organizational Behavior, Research Methodology, and Statistics. Dr. Courts has had the opportunity to guest lecture at numerous international universities, including institutions in Vietnam, Romania, China, Argentina, Mexico, and Spain. Dr. Courts' professional background also includes time in the insurance industry and a position as a project manager for a major ERP software implementation. Additionally, Dr. Courts owns a small self-storage business near Cincinnati.

Professionally, Dr. Courts serves on the board of two organizations, delivers presentations on various topics, and writes course curricula. Research interests include the impact of social media, with a recent publication titled The Influence of Social Media on 21st Century Leaders.

At home, Dr. Courts has a diverse family, with six children from three continents. The family includes an older son and daughter, as well as two girls adopted from Russia in 2011, now aged 15 and 14, and two boys adopted from Africa in 2015, now aged 13 and 11.

In his personal time, Dr. Courts enjoys staying active by playing soccer and singing in both a barbershop chorus and a barbershop quartet. These activities help maintain a balanced lifestyle.
