  1. Review the Application Requirements
    • If you’re applying to RFU for the first time, review the NursingCAS application instructions. Once you create an applicant account in NursingCAS, be sure to select the Rosalind Franklin University DNP Psychiatric Mental Health program.
    • If you are a graduate of a degree or certificate program at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, please complete the Alumni Application.
    • If you are a current student of Rosalind Franklin University scheduled to earn a degree or certificate prior to enrolling in the DNP: PMHNP program, please complete the Alumni Application.
  2. Submit an Application & Fee
    • Early application is strongly encouraged.
    • Please submit your application and fee through NursingCAS.
  3. Submit Official Transcripts
    • Official transcripts from each college, university or community college previously attended must be submitted directly through NursingCAS.
    • Only official transcripts will be accepted.
    • If you have studied outside the U.S., you will need to have your transcripts evaluated for U.S. equivalency using a service like www.wes.org or www.ece.org.
  4. Submit Letters of Recommendation
    • Submit up to three references (one minimum) from individuals are able to attest to the candidate’s academic or clinical performance. References must include a professor or faculty member from your nursing education program, nursing work supervisor (i.e. the person responsible for your annual nursing employment performance review), and/or a healthcare professional who you engaged with as part of a patient-centered interprofessional team.
    • Letters must include a signature and be on official letterhead.
    • Letters must be submitted through NursingCAS.

    • If admitted, a $250 deposit is required, which is applied to your first quarter tuition.
    • Additional requirements, including immunizations, will be detailed if admitted.
