Application

Education
Bachelor’s degree in science or healthcare profession from a regionally-accredited college or university. (Must be complete prior to matriculation.) Minimum GPA of 2.5 overall is required.
Professional Experience
Work or experience in a related health or science field is recommended.
Standardized Tests
If you do not hold U.S. citizenship or permanent residency, you will need an official score report from TOEFL. (This may be waived if you have been a full-time student at a U.S. college or university for at least two consecutive years, or if you are from a country in which English is a primary language.)
Basic TOEFL Requirements
If you earned a bachelor's degree from outside the U.S. and/or you do not hold U.S. citizenship or permanent residency, you are required to demonstrate proof of English proficiency via an official TOEFL report that includes: a total score and category scores in reading, writing, listening and speaking.
An iBT (Internet-based test) score of 100 is recommended for graduate school with no category score being lower than 22.
Please note:
- Test scores must be a test taken within two years of the date from when a complete application is submitted.
- The language test score requirement may be waived if you have demonstrated academic success as a full-time student at a U.S. college or university for at least two consecutive years or if you are from a country in which English is a primary language.
Letters of Recommendation
One letter of recommendation is required, two preferred, from professionals and/or academicians who know you well (i.e. pre-health advisors/committees, professors or supervisors). We encourage letter writers to share their contact information. Letters must include a signature and be on official letterhead. Letters must be submitted through RFUCAS.
Work Experience
U.S. or Canadian certification, registration or licensure as a healthcare professional is highly recommended.
Non-Degree Applicant Policy
The program will consider applicants who hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and who meet the admission requirements of the program.
Personal Statement

Transcripts
Official transcripts from each college, university or community college previously attended must be submitted directly to RFUCAS. Only official transcripts will be accepted.
If you have studies outside the U.S., you will need to have your transcript/s evaluated for U.S. equivalency using a service like www.wes.org or www.ece.org.

Licensure and Certification
Although it is not required, if you have received licensure or certification as a healthcare professional, please upload a copy with your application.
