This welcome event was held to provide support and resources to medical students from groups historically underrepresented in medicine. William A. McDade, MD, PhD, Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer for the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), was the keynote speaker. Students received helpful resources and had the opportunity to network with each other and with faculty.
