To conduct basic medical research that advances knowledge of stem cell biology and tissue regeneration leading to the development of therapeutic strategies.
The distinguishing focus of the CSCRM will be to utilize tissue-derived stem cells from postnatal or adult tissue and to investigate the recruitment of such endogenous tissue stem cells for regeneration in situ.
