Dr. Westley will help you contact appropriate RFUMS professors based on your interests and experience, help you register for your internship and will explain the requirements for internships that earn academic credit.
For Summer Research Internships

Students wishing to apply for a summer research internship at RFUMS should contact Dr. DebBurman at Lake Forest College for more information. To be elegible for this unique summer internship, an internal application must be completed and submitted to Dr. DebBurman by March 1. Depending on the lab, RFUMS will offer $3,000 to $4,000 for 10-12 weeks long summer internship, with flexible start and end dates. Accepted applicants will be eligible for the same summer housing and boarding options at Lake Forest College that are provided to students working and living on campus during the summer. Dr. Debburman will help you contact appropriate RFUMS professors based on your interests and experience, and advise you on departmental expectations on successfully engaging in this unique summer internship.
