Procedure for DePaul University Students to Participate in this Program
The Rosalind Franklin University Summer Research Program and Internships is a special research-based mentoring program for undergraduate students of DePaul University. Our mission is to provide an educational experience, matching student interest and working laboratories here at RFUMS. Selected particpants will become involved in basic science research, incorporating research into a hands-on learning experience for the undergrad.
We also believe that fostering greater community interest in science is crucial to encourage motivated young people to consider scientific careers and to improve the community’s understanding and appreciation of scientific endeavors. Empirical data collected by students will be used to instruct and motivate students about the type of experimental approach available and how to design experiments to enhance our understanding of the mechanisms underlying cell functioning.
