Learning from our patients and sharing that knowledge is a time honored tradition in medicine.  Each year, the department holds a poster competition for our psychiatry residents, which is generously funded by our psychiatry Alumni.  Residents are encouraged to submit a case that has proved interesting and challenging to them, and discuss the patient's diagnosis and treatment and provide a literature review supporting their findings.  The posters are judged by faculty from within the university who generously give their time to this worthwhile educational experience.
