MISSION STATEMENT
The Chicago Medical School's Department of Emergency Medicine is composed of faculty from Mount Sinai Hospital, Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center, Advocate Condell Medical Center, and John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County. The chairman and the majority of the faculty are housed at Mount Sinai Hospital. The Department of Emergency Medicine is committed to clinical care, education and research. The Emergency Medicine Department follows the Chicago Medical School's mission, vision and competencies:
