 University Mail Center Information for Students

Welcome to the University Mail Center information page for students.  Your University Mail Center is located on the Lower Level floor of the Main Building, Room L.341.  We offer all the services that can be obtained through a USPS postal window except for CODs, passports, money orders, and credit and debit card charges.

The University Mail Center extends the services to students who are currently assigned to Student Housing. Students who reside in Student Housing can expect their USPS letter mail and notices at their given housing mail boxes.
 
No student shall use the University address of 3333 Green Bay Rd, North Chicago IL 60064 to receive their personal mail or packages. All items with the University address that is addressed to a student will be returned to sender.
 
The University Mail Center does provide the service of receiving packages for students that are addressed with the student housing address. All shippers/carriers: FedEx, UPS and DHL will drop off at the University Mail Center. An email will be sent to the appropriate addressee to notify of a package received. University Mail Policy concerning student packages is that the package will only be released to the addressee providing an ID card and that packages will only be kept up to 30 days of receipt at the Mail Center. Unclaimed packages after 30 days will be returned to sender. The University Mail Center will not and cannot forward packages.

Window Service
The Post Office window is open for business Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Cash register for all money transactions close at 4:15 p.m.

Change of Address/Forwarding
For students who are leaving the University or want to forward their USPS mail, please follow the link below to guide you through the United States Postal Service’s change of address form to forward mail to your next mailing address. Or, stop by the Mail Center to pick up a form. In regards to packages, please make arrangements with vendors regarding your change of address.
