Deadlines: To give you more time to work on your posters, and because the large number of posters being printed for ASR, we are only printing posters that meet our size and file-type requirements listed below.
To help you meet our requirements, we've created a few templates for you to download and work with. One is a basic template with just our logos. Others also use the University's colors, and a few use other colors. You may choose to use any color scheme you like or customize it in any way.
All of these templates are sized 56" x 40".

COST: The cost for scientific poster printing 56" x 40" is $4 sq. ft. = $62
Poster Requirements:
Saving your finished PowerPoint as a PDF:
MS Powerpoint for Windows PC: When you are ready to save your finished poster click on the windows icon in the upper left part of your screen. Choose "Save as" and select "PDF or XPS" rename your file in the file name window. Make sure PDF is listed in the save as type window. Select the Optimize Standard radio button. Click publish.
MS Powerpoint for Apple Mac Computers: When you are ready to save your finished poster please read the instruction sheet for step by step instructions.

Checking the Size:
After you've made your pdf, open the file. Hovering over the bottom left corner should display a box with the size listed as 56.00 x 40.00 in. or click "File" and choose "Properties" in the bottom portion of the box the page size should be listed as 56.00 x 40.00 in.
Previewing for Graphic Quality:
Either type in 100% in the view percentage window, or click "View" choose "Zoom" and select "Actual size". Use the window slider bars to navigate around your pdf to preview your graphics. They will print exactly as you see them. If the graphics look blurry, distorted, fuzzy or pixelated, then they will also print that way. Always use the highest resolution possible for your graphics.
