The purpose of the Rosalind Franklin safe space program is to identify supportive people and offices in order to make the allies of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender/Transsexual, Queer, Questioning, Intersexual, Asexual, and Ally (LGBTQQIAA) community more visible to all. The Safe Space Program is designed to help LGBTQQIAA people identify places within the campus community where they can feel at ease knowing they will not face discrimination due to their sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.
Safe Spaces at RFUMS
The Office of Student Life supports the academic success of all RFUMS students by fostering their professional, mental, physical and social development by enhancing the quality of campus life. In accordance with applicable law, Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science does not tolerate discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation, nor does it tolerate harassment. Should a student experience discrimination/harassment or wish to report an incidence of discrimination/harassment, this person should contact the Program Director of Student Life, within the Office of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management.
