The Office of Student Life provides support to our international student population through effective advising on all governmental regulations as well as social and academic challenges. We pride ourselves on maintaining a diverse, multicultural student body that draws its constituents from all around the globe. RFUMS enrolls applicants based soley on their academic qualifications; ethnicity, visa status, and background play no part in the decision to admit a candidate. Today, over 24 nations are represented and there are approximately 84 international students who are currently enrolled in various programs offered at RFUMS.
Additionally, clubs such as the Islamic Medical Association (IMA), the South Asian Medical Association (SAMA), and the Asian-Pacific American Medical Association (APAMSA) are only three out of the many university-sponsored, student organizations that enable individuals of various ethnicities to express their multicultural interests and commemorate important events. Annual celebrations of the Persian and Indian New Years (Diwali), of Black History and Hispanic Heritage Months, and of the Muslim Holy Month of Fasting (Ramadan) are amongst the long-standing traditions that make one's years at RFUMS a culturally-enriching experience.
