The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools extends the University's accreditation to include the Doctor of Pharmacy degree.

Beam Signing Ceremony for Interprofessional Education Center and College of Pharmacy Building (structural steel complete).

Ground Breaking Ceremony for Interprofessional Education Center (IPEC), home to the COP.

Recruit the Faculty Leadership Team from members of faculty in all colleges and schools in the University.

Recruit members of the Advisory Board, seeking representatives from diverse areas of pharmacy practice and colleges with pre-pharmacy curricula.

Submit full application for PharmD degree to IBHE.

Meeting with the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) to discuss the process of applying for accreditation.

Notice of Intent filed to establish a PharmD degree with the Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE).

Board of Trustees vote to support the development of a College of Pharmacy.

Feasibility Assessment carried out by an external consulting company.
