Campus Life

At Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, campus life is about community.  Our students engage in over 80 student organizations with other healthcare professional and graduate students.  They inform, entertain and serve at hundreds of events each year.  Students can make a positive impact in the surrounding community, at service events like Kid’s First, a clinic designed to serve the needs of children and their family’s as they return to school in the fall.

No matter your interest, RFUMS has plenty of opportunities to get involved.  Through student government, service initiatives, cultural organizations or friendly competition in intramural sports, our students stay active both in and out of the classroom. Likewise, the convenient location of campus, just a few short miles from Lake Michigan and the extensive Lake County Forrest Preserve, allows plenty of opportunity for outdoor activities whether cross country skiing in the winter or biking or sunbathing through the summer months.  Feeling like a night in the city? Our students can jump on the Metra train and land in Chicago within an hour to enjoy the cultural attractions, professional sporting events or world class dining and shopping.

As with any diverse community, life at RFUMS is and can be anything our students want it to be.  You have the ability to lead, serve, experience and influence your community in a way that we hope you will always engage as a member of your community!
