Accepted Student Resources

After a student is accepted into COP, the following requirements must be completed prior to New Student Orientation August 13-15, 2014.

Laptop Computer
All students are required to have a laptop computer. A laptop is necessary for activities that will take place in the Pharmacy Skills Lab.

Illinois Student Pharmacist Technician License
All students must possess and maintain an active Illinois Student Pharmacist Technician license before beginning Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experiences (IPPEs) in the first year of the program.  The Office of Experiential Education in the College of Pharmacy will work with the incoming class during orientation to apply for this license.

Is there a deposit to hold an acceptee's place in class?
Yes. A total, non-refundable deposit of $1000 is due.  The first $500 is due within 2 weeks of offer with written intent to register, and the second $500 is due in July.

Immunizations
Rosalind Franklin University promotes students’ health by requiring a health history and proof of current immunizations prior to matriculation into our clinical programs. All students are required to complete an Immunization Form and a Health History Form prior to matriculation. You can anticipate further instructions emailed to you.

Criminal Background Check
Our offer of acceptance is contingent upon passing the mandatory criminal background check. Criminal background checks (CBC) protect the safety of students, faculty, staff and patients and are a requirement for matriculation to RFUMS. You will be able to complete your entire CBC process online via PharmCAS. You will receive a copy of the same results that are sent to RFUMS, and you will be contacted only if the results warrant further discussion or action. Your CBC will remain confidential, and your permanent student record will only indicate that you successfully completed this matriculation requirement. All students who have not had their criminal background check completed by matriculation will be considered “provisionally matriculated” until the criminal background results are reviewed by Rosalind Franklin University.

Transcripts
Final transcripts from all colleges attended showing and showing the completion of all prerequisite coursework must be submitted to the office no later than July 15. Transcripts should be mailed to:
